REGULATION (EU) NO.1051/2013 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL OF 22ND OCTOBER 2013 AMENDING REGULATION (EC) NO. 562/2006 IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR COMMON RULES ON THE TEMPORARY REINTRODUCTION OF BORDER CONTROL AT INTERNAL BORDERS IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

The eventual serious treats to public policy or internal security of Members States shall determine reintroducing of temporary border controls at all or specific parts of its internal borders for a limited period of up to 30 days, as a measure of last resort.

If the serious treat persist, the exceptionally borders control shall be establish until the completely removing of the treat concerned, period that shall not exceed 6 months.
The European Commission and the Member State concerned shall inform publicly the adoption of any decision to reintroduce border control at internal borders and shall indicate the start and the end period of the surveillance of national territorial boundaries, except for the serious treats to the national and community security.
The Regulation (EU) no. 1051/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council is obligatory and directly applicable in all States Members of the European Union.
