AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THE VISIT TO ROMANIA ON THE 12-13 SEPTEMBER 2016 OF THE FRENCH REPUBLIC PRESIDENT, FRANÇOIS HOLLANDE, THE GOVERNMENT HAS ADOPTED THREE DOCUMENTS WHICH ESTABLISH MEASURES FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE 2018 ROMANIA – FRANCE CULTURAL SEASON, THE BILATERAL CULTURAL PROGRAM DEDICATED TO CELEBRATING A CENTENARY OF MODERN ROMANIA (1918 – 2018), AS WELL AS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATION IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION AND ENVIRONMENT.
Through a memorandum, the Government has adopted the negotiation and signing of the Protocol concerning the cooperation in the field of education between the Ministry of Education and Scientific research in Romania and the National Education Ministry of Higher Education and Research of the French Republic. The two Ministries will work for the establishment of schools with the observance of the Romanian laws and of the autonomy of schools and will continue to encourage cooperation at the school level between the two countries, at all levels, but especially at high schools both in the theoretical and technological case, as well as at the level of professional education.
Cooperation between the two administrations, which will be extended indefinitely, follows the materialization also through the exchange of experience, know-how, best practices information, scientific and technical data, in knowledge in the field of conservation and management of protected areas. There would also be carried out programs and joint projects for sustainable development.
