The Emergency Ordinance approves in the national forest belts protection system, the National Program for achieving forest belts destined to protect highways and national roads.
The achievement of the investment objectives linked to the program are made by the National Forests Authority – Romsilva or by the specialized territorial structures of the central public authority responsible for the forestry, as according to the case.
Financing the investment objectives of the Program is provided from external, post-accession, non-refundable founds coming from the state budget, in the annually approved funds limits for this purpose in the budget of the Waters, Forests and Fisheries Department.
