ANIMAL BREEDERS WILL BENEFIT THIS YEAR OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT IN TOTAL VALUE OF 56.5 MILLION LEI, ACCORDING TO A DECISION APPROVED BY THE GOVERNMENT.

Layout of State aid in the livestock sector, established by the Government Decision No. 1179/2014, fully covers the administrative costs of drawing up and maintaining the herd-book and, partly, the costs relating to the tests to determining the genetic quality or yield of the livestock.
For the year 2017, the government approved the amount of 56.58 million RON as the total maximum layout of state aid for service providers of services. Of this amount, 27.18 million RON will be granted for cattle, pork and horses, and 29.4 million RON for sheep and goat.
The funds shall be granted from the state budget, within the limits of the provisions of the approved budget of the Ministry Of Agriculture and Rural Development for the year 2017.
