THE GOVERNMENT FACILITATES THE CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY FOR THE DIRECT PAYMENTS IN AGRICULTURE WITH EUROPEAN FUNDING.

For assuring a full and easier access for the Romanian farmers to the payment schemes related to PAC 2014-2020, the Government has adopted an Emergency Ordinance by which it modifies two normative acts. More specific, the modification and complement of the Emergency Ordinance no. 3/2015 for the approval of the payment schemes applying to agriculture during the period 2015-2020, and the modification of Article 2 of Law no. 36/1991 on Agricultural Companies and other forms of association in agriculture.
The normative act loosens the eligibility conditions for direct payments of European funding in agriculture, given the fact that the period of submission of the single payments request is coming up, 1st of March – 15th of May. The normative act also clarifies certain provisions, conditions and documents accompanying the single payment request.
At the same time, it creates the legal framework for the rapid implementation of the provisions of certain existing or about to be adopted European normative acts, and it assures compatibility with the EU legislation.
