DECISION NO. 959/2013 REGARDING THE PROROGATION OF THE APPLICATION TERMS OF STATE AIDS, AS WELL AS FOR THE APPROVING OF THE STATE AID GRANTED TO FARMERS FOR 2014 AND OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT ALLOCATED TO THE STATE AID

According to the Government Decision no. 959/2013, the duration of the aid schemes previously established by Government Decision no. 756/2010 approving the Methodological Norms on how the state aid in agriculture for the payment of insurance is granted, the Government Decision no. 920/2010 for approving the Methodological Norms on how the state aid livestock farmers is granted, for the collection of dead animals, and by the Government Decision no. 207/2011 for approving the Methodological Norms regarding the granting of state aid to improve animal breeds, as amended and supplemented, shall be extended until June 30, 2014.

Equally, there have been approved the State aids which shall be granted to agricultural producers in 2014, the term of the grant being until June 30, 2014, namely:

  • in the livestock sector, the aid will be in the amount of 14.53 million lei,
  • the payment of insurance premiums, state aid is equivalent to the amount of 310 million lei,
  • the aids destinated to cover the costs of establishing and maintaining the herd and to determine the genetic quality of livestock breeds are expected to reach 150 million lei.


Also, the Romanian Government has approved the state aid for the diesel used in agriculture, totaling Lei 4.730.310.000 allocated, to be distributed until September 30, 2014.

The total amount of state aid granted under the Government Decision no. 959/2013 is Lei 5,204,840,000, to be provided from the state budget within the approved budgetary provisions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for the year 2014.
