ORDER NO. 1253/2013 FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE RULES REGARDING THE REGISTRATION OF THE OPERATORS IN THE ECOLOGICAL AGRICULTURE

Starting with 2014, the operators in the ecological agriculture have the obligation to register their activity at the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, by the County Directions for agriculture, namely of the municipality of Bucharest, the deadline being 31 August 2014. If the agricultural operators have many working points, they shall submit only one record sheet.

The record sheet of the ecological agricultural operators shall be attended by the following written documents:

  • An affidavit for the record, if those operators access measures of the National Rural Development Program and of the Fisheries Operational Program and
  • An affidavit for holding the documents required for the registration in organic farming.


The merchants who sell organic products, labeled and packaged, to the final users are exempt from the registration obligation, but being conditioned of the performance of some activity reports as well as an affidavit in this regard, which shall be submitted to the County Direction for agriculture, respectively to the one of Bucharest.
The import or export operators of organic products shall submit a statement regarding the situation of the imports and exports performed, to the County Direction for agriculture, Bucharest, respectively to the one of Bucharest.

In the event of voluntary termination of activity, the organic agriculture operators will have to keep all accounting records for a period of 5 years since the date of notification of the activity termination.
