The EU Council of Ministers shall adopt a new Directive which shall support the free movement of the cross-border workers through the European Community, designed to eliminate the obstacles of the previous European legislation, as well as the lack of information for the public and private sector employers regarding the EU legal proceeding, and, not the least, the difficulties faced by the cross-border workers when they seeking to obtain information and/or assistance in the host Member State.
Thus, the Directive intents to increase the security of the cross-border workers into the European Community and to remove of any discrimination, by implementing the following measures:

Establish one or more national organisms to provide support and legal assistance to migrant workers from the European Union, in order to assure the respect of the right conferred;

An effective legal security of the cross-border workers rights;

And developing a more accessible informational system regarding the migrant workers’ rights, as well as the persons looking for a job in the European Community space, in several languages of the EU Member States.

In equal measure, the normative act rules shall be applied not only for the mobile workers, but for also for the employers, which shall be better informed by having an increased access to supplementary information at the time of hiring workers from the European space.
