THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT DECISION NO. 23/2015 WERE ADOPTED THE IMPLEMENTING RULES OF THE LAW NO. 142/1998 REGARDING THE MEAL TICKETS. THIS DECISION DETAILS THE EVIDENCE AND THE DISTRIBUTION PROCEDURE OF MEAL TICKETS BOTH ON PAPER AND ON ELECTRONIC SUPPORT.

According to this normative act, it can be granted a maximum number of meal tickets equal to the number of the working days of the employee in a calendar month and their distribution is made at the end of the current month for the next month.
An employee can use the meal tickets only in order to pay the lunch or the food. Also, he can use more meal tickets per day, with the condition that he shall not exceed the maximum number of tickets related to his working days.
The electronic meal tickets shall be received by the employees via an electronic support of the issuing unit of the meal tickets.
